Day one for the name, year 8 for the work.
For 7+ years our team has built digital learning for enterprises and institutions across 15 countries, as Knotopian. Long enough to know what actually helps someone learn something, and long enough to keep hitting the same limit: the principles were sound, and the tools available to deliver them weren't built around those principles at all. So, we build the tools.
We're not new here. We've been solving this for 7+ years.

Nobody learns to swim from a book.
That isn't a criticism of the book, it's the wrong instrument for the job.
So, when a graduate freezes in an interview, when a team completes a sales training and behaves exactly as before, and when a capable candidate is filtered out for using the wrong words on a resume what was missing was never the content. It was somewhere to practice.
So that's what we built.
